The Acadiana Wreckin' Rams defense and relentless rushing attack proved too much as they defeated the Destrehan Wildcats 23-0.
After going into halftime with a slim 3-0 lead, the Rams offense came out in the 2nd half and overwhelmed the Wildcats defense with their powerful rushing attack.
Acadiana finished the game with 337 yards of total offense, and all of those yards coming on the ground. Tyvin Zeno, Omiri Wiggins and Kevan Williams each ran for second-half rushing touchdowns.
#1 seed Acadiana advances to the Class 5A title game against #6 seed Alexandria, with the opportunity to repeat as state champions.
