Dunkirk Riots is a seven-piece folk-rock band based in Norfolk, Virginia, known for blending Celtic and European folk traditions with a high-energy punk ethos. Their lineup includes Casey Copeland (violin/vocals), Miles Hoyle (accordion), Rick Isotalo (drums), Simone Koussa (bass), Ryan Livingston (guitar/vocals), Alaina Shaw (viola), and Tommy Tavenner (bagpipes/banjo/whistle).
The band debuted in 2024 with their single "Spirit of Norfolk," a tribute to a local ship that caught fire but was saved by others. They followed up with a cover of The Interrupters' "Take Back the Power" in celebration of the 10th anniversary of the band's debut album.
