The scoring began before fans realized what was happening, but soon both teams clamped down on defense to make this a game where the tension was palpable. An exciting game, worthy to be added to the tradition of this rivalry. St. Thomas More pulled ahead in the end to beat the Catholic Bears 39-38 in a thriller.
