The Teurlings Catholic Rebels have reached the semifinals the last two seasons. The Rebels strength is the offensive line, which is big and led by Tulane Commitment Gresham Perry, who is six-foot-six, 310 pounds. Speedy wideout Nick Celestine has an offer from Georgia Tech and on defense all-district defensive back Kaleb Daniels returns.
The Westgate Tigers year in and year out are one of the more talented teams in the Acadiana area. This year they are led by Jaboree Antoine, who is committed to Miami as a four-star cornerback. He plays quarterback for the Tigers. Wide receiver Davian Jackson is a Mississippi State recruit.
