Week 2 Zachary at Acadiana:
Zachary and Acadiana have plenty of championship pedigree. Both schools finished as runners-up as state champions. The Wreckin Rams have won six state titles, while Zachary has won four. The Broncos have a lot of starters to replace from a year ago, but quarterback Caleb Gonzales got experience in 2023 and defensive tackle Sean Hamilton will be a force up front.
Acadiana is a run-oriented team, but receiver Russell Babineaux is a commitment to the Louisiana Ragin Cajuns and junior defensive lineman Darryus McKinley is the one of the most talented players in the Class of 2026
