Southside has a new football coach that knows how to win championships. Jess Curtis won three of them at Many in northwest Louisiana and now he’ll look to lead Class 5A Southside on a deep run in the playoffs. Curtis plans to play two different quarterbacks in Crews Holden and Parker Diaz.
The Notre Dame Pioneers are led by Hall of Fame Coach Louis Cook, who has won 401 games and five state championships. Cook has an experienced team that features three-year starter Jackson Casanova on defense, Landon Mouton is a returning starter on offensive line and Parker Faust is back at quarterback.
